Let’s Clear Up a Few Things About Process

5-Star Lifew 1Life is NOT a process. Life is the PRODUCT.

This is the first epiphany of 5-Star Life.

How many times have we heard or said that life is a process, that it’s filled with twists and turns we don’t always understand? We try to do the best we can, yet we remain at the mercy of a secret, undefined process called LIFE.

After all, everything happens for a reason, right?

If we’re fierce believers in life as a process, we know we’ll figure it out later; we’ll learn from it and do better next time, right? This makes us feel better and lets us cut ourselves a break. Well, how long is that going to take? Who knows? We somehow assume that the confusing process of life will eventually result in a deep and abiding feeling of satisfaction.

Some of us believe that life is a process due to our religious training. If you were raised like me, you were taught that we’re not always going to understand God’s plan; we shouldn’t question God or His methods, we’re taught to simply trust in Him and His plan.

If your belief in life as a process isn’t religiously driven, it’s may be the Universe. The Universe knows …

There’s absolutely nothing wrong with faith, hope, and all of that; in fact, it’s extremely important. However, out of context, it can create a mindset that holds us back rather than actively moves us forward.

If you believe in God, then you probably believe that He doesn’t make mistakes.

Ergo, YOU are not a mistake. You don’t have kinks, defects, or bad programming.

This means that God has already given you everything you need to be the best possible version of yourself. I want to share a new approach to getting there.

If you’re willing to have just a tiny bit of faith in me and keep an open mind, I’ll share new information and insight, give you a lot to think about, and provide you with a roadmap for working your way to a 5-Star Life you define for yourself … all based on the proven science behind quality management systems used by the Fortune 500 to ensure product quality and customer satisfaction.

Lastly, if it’s not God or the Universe that has you believing that life is a process, you may simply be one of the billions out there operating with an inaccurate definition of process.

So, to clear up the issue of process once and for all:

The definition of PROCESS is:

a systematic series of actions directed to some end: to devise a process for homogenizing milk.

a continuous action, operation, or series of changes taking place in a definite manner: the process of decay.

Key words and phrases here are systematic and a definitive manner.

Life is never systematic and never definitive. If you believe it is or try to make it so, you will fail. Systematic and definitive processes include specific elements that are known, controlled, and monitored to produce a specific outcome. We cannot control every aspect of life, which are numbered in the billions, and expect, hope, or dream this thing called LIFE into being a process.

Life is also not God’s nor the Universe’s process. Since we have free will, God nor the Universe can control billions of unknowns either!

No wonder so many people feel like giving up.

No wonder people feel helpless and out of control.

No wonder people believe they should just settle for the life they have rather than expecting more.

I’ve been there and it makes me sad.
